Water Management Advisory Committee Request to Address the City Commission (B)
Explanation
In the November 22, 1999 City Commission meeting, the Commission made a referral (Referral #990849) to the WMAC, Plan Board, planning staff, utility staff and public works staff to review the land development regulations for protection of surface waters and wetlands. The WMAC has developed recommendations for revising the land development regulations in response to this referral.
In conjunction with the recommendations for the Land Development Code, the WMAC has developed recommended language for inclusion in the Conservation, Open Space and Groundwater Recharge Element of the Comprehensive Plan (see attached). These recommendations have been presented to planning staff and the Plan Board. The WMAC would like to present these recommendations to the City Commission.
Recommendations
The City Commission receive a presentation by the Water Management Advisory Committee (WMAC) on the WMAC's recommendations for revising the City's Land Development Code and the Conservation, Open Space and Groundwater Recharge.
