Explanation
The Art in City Hall exhibit is a three person exhibit, featuring prints, paintings and photographs by Deborah Cohen, Annette Johnson and Marilyn S. Whitney. The dates for this exhibit are March 13 - May 23, 2000. The sponsor is Central Florida Office Plus.
The Art in the County Administration Building exhibit, titled: "Dreamscapes" features fiber sculpture by Pat Nichelson and paintings by Karen Wetterqvist. The dates for this exhibit are March 13 to May 23, 2000. The sponsor is Eleanor Blair.
The Art in the Airport exhibit is a three-person exhibit, titled: "Diversity" featuring prints and paintings by David Crown, Sue Jester and Stewart Thomas. The dates for this exhibit are March 13 to May 23, 2000. The sponsor is Light-Work Labs.
Fiscal Note
Expenses for these exhibits are funded from Miscellaneous Gifts and Grants, at a total of approximately $1,675 each.
Recommendation
The City Commission hear a brief presentation by Donna Born Drake, ARTSREACH Coordinator for the Department of Cultural Affairs, introducing the exhibitions of Art in City Hall, Art in the County Administration Building and Art in the Airport.
