Title Amended Downtown Redevelopment Plan Explanation The current Amended Redevelopment Plan for the downtown district requires revision due to the creation of the Community Redevelopment Agency and to reflect current conditions. The Redevelopment Plan was updated by the Planning Division of the Department of Community Development. The Downtown Redevelopment Advisory Board has recommended that the plan be approved, and the City of Gainesville Plan Board has found the plan consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. On March 17, 1997, the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) approved to recommend that the City Commission adopt the Amended Redevelopment Plan. A copy of the plan is on file in the Clerk's Office until the April 14, 1997 City Commission meeting. It will then be on file in the CRA Director's Office. Fiscal Note No Impact at this time. Recommendation The City Commission adopt the proposed Resolution.
