Explanation
Changes to Personnel Policy 8: Sick Leave, Policy 11: Bereavement Leave, Policy 18: Employment of Relatives, Policy 26: Employee Assistance, and Policy 29: Leave Bank, include language covering domestic partners and language that is similar for employees covered by union agreement. Policy 10: Holidays, includes language covering the optional holiday for managers and professionals at the end of their probationary period, in the same manner as for employees covered by union agreements.
