Title Release of Easements in conjunction with the Roadway and Stormwater Management Facilities for the Extension of N.E. 12th Avenue from Waldo Road to Cedar Grove Explanation The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) had acquired numerous easements over certain properties on the east side of Waldo Road for the discharge of stormwater through those properties. In 1997 the City entered into agreements with FDOT and with Mr. Roy Camp for those certain improvements referenced above to be made on Mr. Camp's properties. Those improvements required the relocation of the existing FDOT stormwater management facilities covered by the easements to FDOT. FDOT deeded all of the easements to the City, and Mr. Camp provided new easements for the facilities to be relocated. The new easements granted by Mr. Camp have been recorded in the public records and the relocation of all stormwater management facilities is complete. Fiscal Note There is no fiscal impact by the release of these easements. Recommendation The City Commission: 1) authorize the release of two easements in conjunction with the roadway and stormwater management facilities for the extension of N.E. 12th Avenue from Waldo Road to Cedar Grove; 2) authorize the Mayor and the Clerk of the Commission to execute the two release documents; subject to approval by the City Attorney as to form and legality; and 3) direct the Clerk to record said releases in the Public Records and to provide Mr. Camp with copies of the recorded release documents.
