Memorandum of Agreement Between the City of Gainesville and Greyhound Lines, Inc. (B)
Explanation
The City of Gainesville Regional Transit System (RTS) and Greyhound Lines, Inc. (Greyhound), are working together to identify a joint site location for a multi-modal facility. Greyhound is currently under considerable pressure to vacate their existing Gainesville location. Subsequently, they must identify a new Gainesville location from which to continue operations.
While RTS is working with Greyhound to identify a multi-modal facility location, should Greyhound be in need of a temporary location from which to continue its Gainesville operations, RTS proposes the old Gainesville Regional Utilities site, located at 700 SE 3rd Street, as a temporary location for Greyhound operations.

Recommendation
The City Commission authorize the City Manager to sign a Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Gainesville and Greyhound Lines, Inc. in substantially the form provided with this agenda item subject to approval as to form and legality by the City Attorney.
