Interlocal Agreement Between Alachua County and City of Gainesville for Base Level Transit Service (B)

Explanation

Each year the City of Gainesville (City) and the County of Alachua (County) enter into an Interlocal Agreement for the City to provide public base level transit services to residents and visitors in the surrounding urbanized area.  The County agrees to pay for a one-year period from October 1, 2001, through September 30, 2002, for base level service.

Fiscal Note

The City will receive $247,180 in revenue from the County in quarterly payments of $61,795.

Recommendation

The City Commission: authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the Interlocal Agreement between the County of Alachua and the City of Gainesville for base level transit service.
