RFP for Independent Consultation on Meeting Future Electric Supply Needs (NB)
Explanation
Staff will total up the Commissioner's individual evaluation sheets for the City Commission to review. Staff will propose a process for the final selection of the Consultant(s) to perform the scope of work. Finally, request the City Commission to authorize the General Manager or his designee to negotiate and execute the contract(s) with the Independent Consultant(s) to perform the scope of work.
Recommendations
The City Commission: 1) Submit their completed evaluation sheets for tabulation by Purchasing staff during the meeting; 2) Discuss and approve the procedure for final selection of the Independent Consultant(s); and 3) Authorize the General Manager or his designee to negotiate and execute the contract(s) with the Independent Consultant(s) for consultation on options for meeting the electrical supply needs of the Gainesville community and approve the issuance of purchase orders.
