Gainesville has seen tremendous progress since University of Florida President Bernie Machen took the reins in 2004. At this month's CRA Board meeting, Commissioner Hinson-Rawls and CRA Director Anthony Lyons will reflect on the legacy Dr. Machen has built and thank him for his contributions to the city.
