Explanation
In September 2005, the Parks Division submitted bid proposals to resurface the tennis courts at the T.B. McPherson Park. Two bids were received: Court Surfaces, Inc., with the lower bid of $25,940 and Arrowhead Enterprises with a bid of $27,200. Resurfacing requires placing the fiberglass over the entire four court area, since the cracks are too numerous to cover individually. The bid amount includes the furnishing of all labors, materials, equipment and services necessary to complete the project.

Recommendation
Recommended Motion: The City Commission approve the request to use Court Surfaces, Inc., to perform the work necessary to complete the project of resurfacing the four tennis court area at T.B. McPherson Park.
Alternative Recommendation: The City Commission deny the request. The fiscal impact if denied may deem the courts unsafe and may lead to permanently locking the court until the resurfacing can occur.
