Explanation
A citizen proposed to the City Commission that the City amend its regulations for the MU-1 (Mixed-Use) zoning district in order to allow non-food vendors as well as food vendors. The Committee discussed several times, and concluded that there should be additional regulations for food vendors in the MU-1 districts. The full proposal is set forth in the draft text change.

Community Development Committee to the City Commission: 1) amend the ordinance to limit space occupied by itinerant foods vendors; 2) propose design standards for mobile food vendors; and 3) remove the item from the referral list.
