First Extension to the Contract to Provide Limerock Materials and Services (B)

Explanation

On October 9, 2000, the City Commission awarded an annual contract to Limestone Products, Inc., to provide limerock materials and services used for roadway base construction and stabilization.  The contract allows for two one-year extensions.  The Public Works Department is seeking approval of the contract for the first of two extensions for FY 2002.

Fiscal Note

All purchases will be charged to the appropriate operating budget or capital improvement account.

Recommendation

The City Commission authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the first extension to the contract for FY 2002 to Limestone Products, Inc., to provide materials and services used for roadway base construction and stabilization.
