The City Commission adopt the proposed ordinance.

explanation

In the proposed budget for the Combined Utilities System, as presented by the General Manager, a recommendation is made to increase natural gas rates by 3.75%.  Even with this increase, GRU gas rates remain among the lowest in the state.

The natural gas customer charges and energy charge rates will be increased by 3.75% for each rate class.
