Bid Award for Installation of Sidewalks; Phase IV of Cedar Grove II (B)
Explanation
On May 24, 2004, the Housing Division solicited bids from seven (7) prospective bidders for the installation of sidewalks in Phase IV of Cedar Grove II. The Housing Division received only one (1) response from Precision Hardscape Design. As a result, on June 9, 2004, the Housing Division conducted a re-bid with no additional bids received. Therefore, Precision Hardscape Design's bid was selected and qualified in the amount of $29,885.
Fiscal Note
Funds for the sidewalk installation are budgeted in the City's Special Purpose Grant.
Recommendation
The City Commission: 1) award the bid to Precision Hardscape Design in the amount of $29,885; and 2) authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the Contract and any other necessary paperwork required.
