Explanation

The City Commission (Commission) and Utility Advisory Board (UAB) scheduled this joint session to provide direction to staff regarding the development of the FY20 GRU budget.  Attached as backup is a preliminary draft schedule outlining topics and potential target dates for internal processes as well as meetings with the City Commission and Utility Advisory Board.

The goal of this session is to provide the Commission and the UAB the opportunity to deliver direction to staff regarding the content of material to be covered and the order and timing in which the Commission and UAB request to receive them.

Recommendation:

The Commission and UAB provide direction to staff regarding the development of the FY20 GRU budget process.
