Explanation
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Popular Reporting to the City of Gainesville for its Citizen's Report for the fiscal year ended September 30, 1999. The Certificate of Achievement is a prestigious national award-recognizing conformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local popular reports. The staff believes our current report continues to conform to the Certificate of Achievement program requirements and will be submitting it to the GFOA.
