Interlocal Agreement with Alachua County for Base Level Transit Service (B)
Explanation
Each year the City of Gainesville and Alachua County enter into an Interlocal Agreement for the City to provide public transit services to residents and visitors in the surrounding urbanized area. The County agrees to pay for a one-year period from October 1, 2003, through September 30, 2004, for base level transit service.
Fiscal Note
The City will receive $247,180 of revenue from the County in quarterly payments of $61,795.
Recommendation
The City Commission authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the Interlocal Agreement with Alachua County for base level transit service for the period of October 1, 2003, through September 30, 2004, and any other necessary documents.
