At the September 16, 2010 City Commission meeting during Citizen Comment, Dr. Julia Reiskind and others representing the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Board came before the City Commission requesting that the City support their suggestions for alternative options for the NW 16th Avenue Resurfacing Project.
Recommendation
The City Commission: 1) Request that the County provide the City Commission with a presentation regarding the NW 16th Avenue Resurfacing Project at the next Regular City Commission meeting (October 7, 2010); and 2) authorize the Mayor to send a letter to the Chair of the MTPO requesting that this item be placed on the next MTPO agenda for discussion.
