Explanation

At the February 14, 2000 City Commission hearing, Planning staff gave a presentation regarding the Census 2000 information update.   The Census Bureau staff requested assistance from Planning staff in the adoption of a resolution supporting a complete count for the 2000 Census.

The City Commission adopt the resolution to support the establishment of a partnership with the United States Census Bureau to obtain an accurate count of City residents.
