The City Attorney brought this item forward after the State of Florida Legislative Update, File #100847.
Recommendation
The City Commission: 1) Authorize the City Attorney to draft an ordinance amending the City's Pension Plans in light of recent state legislation and bring back to the City Commission for First Reading at the June 16, 2011 regular City Commission meeting; and 2) direct the Clerk to schedule a Special Meeting during the last two weeks of June, 2011, for second reading of the ordinance.
