Fiscal Note
For any approved project, the Federal share of the costs is 65% with the remaining 35% paid by the City. The total project cost is estimated to be $3,500,000, and the City's cost share is estimated to be $1,200,000.
Recommendation
The City Commission: 1) authorize the City Manager or designee to submit a request letter to the US Army Corps of Engineers; and 2) authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all other documents related to US Army Corps funding if the anticipated funding becomes available.
