Explanation

At its meeting on September 11, 2000, the City Commission approved the Technology Enterprise Center operating budget which provided a leasing schedule for prospective tenants. In order to begin leasing the Technology Enterprise Center suites, staff created a lease template.

Fiscal Note

No fiscal impact. 

Recommendation

The City Commission:  1) Approve parameters for the leasing of space within the Technology Enterprise Center substantially in the form of the draft lease; and 2) authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute individual leases with prospective TEC tenants based on the policies, subject to the approval by the City Attorney as to form and legality.
