explanation
At its meeting of November 8, 2004, the City Commission determined it may be appropriate to lease retail space in the Southwest Downtown Parking Garage, under certain conditions, to an establishment serving alcohol. At that meeting, the City Commission authorized the City Attorney to draft and the Clerk of the Commission to advertise an ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances to allow for such provision.
This ordinance requires two public hearings. Should the Commission adopt the ordinance on first reading; the second and final reading will be held on Monday, January 10, 2005.
