Explanation

As part of the special award conditions associated with the US Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) grant to help construct the Technology Enterprise Center, the City of Gainesville is required to permanently set aside as a buffer area the wetland located on the project site.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this activity. 

Recommendation

The City Commission adopt a resolution to permanently set aside as buffer area the wetland located at the Technology Enterprise Center project site on 2153 SE Hawthorne Road,  Gainesville, Florida.
