Title
Amendment 3 to the Memorandum of Understanding to Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Services Providing for the Continuation of Portable Bulk Collection Services
Explanation
On March 25, 1998, the City of Gainesville entered into Amendment 2 to the Memorandum of Understanding to Solid Waste establishing a pilot program for scheduled bulk collection. This portable service is targeted at specific areas of the City based on need. The Pilot Program has reduced the level of complaints related to bulk collection services and has been particularly valuable during the semester change in late August and September of 1998. This program is providing a benefit; therefore we would like to continue the portable bulk collection service through the remainder of the contract, September 30, 1999.
Fiscal Note
Funds are available in the Solid Waste's FY 1999 Contractural Services budget.
