explanation
At its meeting of January 28, 2002, the City Commission authorized the City Attorney to draft and the Clerk of the Commission to advertise an ordinance reducing the salaries of the Mayor and City Commissioners. The attached ordinance will reduce the salaries of the Mayor and City Commission effective beginning the first full pay period of March 2002. The reduced salaries would thereafter be subject to appropriate CPI adjustments, if any.
