explanation

The City Commission at its meeting of July 24, 2000, authorized the City Attorney to draft and the Clerk of Commission to advertise an ordinance increasing all occupational tax rates by five percent.  Section 205.535, F.S. (1999) requires the vote for adoption of this ordinance to be at least a majority plus one of the City Commission.
