explanation
At its meeting on August 11, 1997, the City Commission authorized the City Attorney to draft and the Clerk of the Commission to advertise an ordinance codifying the business conditions which existed prior to the enactment by the State Legislature of Chapter 97-165, Laws of Florida, to wit: vendors licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for consumption on premises may continue to conduct business as long as the business is lawful and does not involve the sale, serving or consumption of alcoholic beverages during those hours when the sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
