explanation

At the March 4th Regular Meeting, the City Commission discussed a draft resolution that had been provided from an external source and directed staff to place this resolution on the April 1st Agenda.  City staff reviewed the Senate and House Bills and substantially re-wrote the draft resolution to accurately reflect the substance of the Bills and their anticipated effect on the City.  The final version of the resolution is in the back-up for Commission consideration.

The City Commission consider the final version of the resolution prepared by staff and take action deemed appropriate.
