Explanation

The Utility Advisory Board and the City Commission met jointly on August 16, 2017 to discuss the details of the asset purchase agreement between GREC and the City of Gainesville/GRU.  After hearing staff's presentation and asking questions of GRU's outside counsel, the Board voted 5-0, with members Walpole and Campbell absent, to hold a special meeting on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, to further discuss the agreement and formulate a recommendation to the City Commission.

Recommendation:

The UAB recommend approval of the Asset Purchase Agreement to the City Commission.
