Explanation
This Agreement has been reached through negotiations between The Communications Workers of America, Local No. 3170, and the City of Gainesville, and was ratified by the Communications Workers of America, Local No. 3170 bargaining unit on September 10, 2001. This Agreement covers the period from October 1, 2001, through December 31, 2003.
Fiscal Note
Funds are currently budgeted for the Fiscal Year 2001-2002. The costs for the Fiscal Year 2002-2003, and Fiscal Year 2003-2004 will be addressed in the budget preparation process for those years.
Recommendations
The City Commission ratify the Non-Supervisory Contract for Communications Workers of America Local No. 3170 covering the period October 1, 2001, through December 31, 2003, between the City of Gainesville and Communications Workers of America, Local No. 3170, a copy of which is on file with the Clerk of the Commission. After September 28, 2001, the Non-Supervisory Contract will be on file in the Human Resources Department.
