 Explanation

City staff attended the March 2, 2010 School Board meeting where a proposal of the potential merger of Metcalfe and Rawlings Elementary Schools was discussed. Staff would like to update the City Commission on this proposal.

Fiscal Note

There is no fiscal impact at this time.

Recommendation

The City Commission hear an update from staff and determine if the Commission would like to take a position or share any comments or concerns with the School Board of Alachua County.

The City Commission decline to hear an update from staff.
