Explanation
At the November 7, 2013 City Commission meeting, Commissioner Thomas Hawkins brought this issue to the commission after receiving complaints from citizens affected by loud events in their neighborhood that were permitted through the City's permitting process.

The Public Safety Committee discuss whether the City Noise Ordinance should be amended to restrict noise permits being issued in residential neighborhoods.
