Explanation
On August 10, 2000, the Purchasing Division solicited bids from 37 prospective bidders for the land clearing for Phase III of Cedar Grove II (Lots 61-74 and 75-99). Purchasing received five responses. The low bid was submitted by Watson Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $27,300.00.
Fiscal Note
Funds for land clearing for Phase III of Cedar Grove II (Lots 61-74 and 75-99) are budgeted.
Recommendation
The City Commission: 1) accept the low bid in the amount of $27,300.00; and 2) authorize the City Manager or designee to issue a purchase order to Watson Construction Company, Inc. for the bid award price of $27,300.00.
