Explanation
On September 27, 1999, the City Commission referred this item to the Recreation and Cultural Affairs Committee for action. On November 23, 1999, the Recreation and Cultural Affairs Committee met with citizens and representatives from the Boys Club to discuss their desire to utilize the property at Possum Creek as a site for their new clubhouse. This item was again address by the Committee at its December 6, 1999, meeting. At this meeting, the committee agreed with a suggestion from City Attorney Marion Radson to have staff work on a revised Charter for infrastructure within the Watershed area to be prepared for the next election.
The recommendation from the December 6, 1999, meeting was approved by the Commission at its January 10, 2000 meeting, and referred back to the Recreation and Cultural Affairs Committee for further action.
