Explanation

Staff, Gwain Davis, reported to the Recreation & Cultural Affairs Committee on October 15, 2001 that Facility Use Agreements have been executed with Swing & Sway Dance Club and Gainesville Oldtime Dance Society for use of the Thelma Boltin Center.  The Committee directed staff to report back to the City Commission and to remove this item from the Active Referral List.

Recommendation

The City Commission:  1) receive a report from staff on the Facility Use Agreements with Swing & Sway Dance Club and Gainesville Oldtime Dance Society for use of the Thelma Boltin Center; and 2) remove this item from the Active Referral List.
