Explanation
On December 11, 2000, the City Commission referred the issue of occupancy and other property maintenance and neighborhood protection issues in the RC zoning district to the Community Development Committee. Citizen Robert Pearce had requested modification of the 3-person occupancy limit in the RC zoning district to make renovation of homes for rentals in this zoning district more financially viable. The Community Development Committee decided after discussing the matter several times, not to approve the modification of the 3-person occupancy limit in the RC zoning district at this time.
Recommendation
The Community Development Committee recommends that the City Commission remove this item from the referral list.
