Florida Public Relations Association Image Award and Judges' Awards Received by the Communications and Marketing Office (NB)
The Communications and Marketing Office received three awards at the local Florida Public Relations Association (FRPA) image awards reception. An Image Award and two Judges' Awards were awarded to the Communications and Marketing Office for Pathways, the City of Gainesville's Employee Magazine; the 2007 Citizens' Report and Gainesville 101, the City of Gainesville's Citizens' Academy, respectively. The awards are hereby presented to the Commission.
Explanation
The North Central Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association recently awarded the Communications and Marketing Office an Image Award and two Judges' Awards.
The Image Award was received for Pathways, the City's employee magazine, in the printed tools category. Image Awards are awarded annually by the local chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association to recognize outstanding local public relations programs.
The first Judges' Award was received for the 2007 Citizen's Report in the annual report category. The second Judges' Award was received for Gainesville 101: the City of Gainesville's Citizens' Academy in the public service category. The Judges' Awards honor outstanding programs that achieve maximum results while using a minimum amount of money.
