An ordinance of the City of Gainesville, Florida, amending the Zoning Map Atlas and rezoning certain properties recently annexed into the City from various Alachua County zoning categories to various City of Gainesville zoning categories, as more specifically shown on the maps attached to this ordinance; generally located North of N.E. 39th Avenue, South of N.E. 53rd Avenue, East of N.E. 15th Street, and West of Waldo Road; providing a severability clause; providing a repealing clause; and providing an immediate effective date.

During the last several years, the city has annexed properties into the City. The purpose of this ordinance is to rezone the properties to the appropriate city zoning district or districts.

The City Commission at its meeting of February 10, 2003, authorized the City Attorney's office to prepare and advertise the necessary ordinance rezoning certain lands within the City of Gainesville.
