Title Gainesville Community Band Recommendation The City Commission: 1) refer to this issue during the budget process with staff formulating criteria for groups that don't qualify for Professional Arts Producing Institutions (PAPI) funds; and 2) the Gainesville Community Band (GCB) continue to compete with other non-PAPI organizations through the current established process as they have in the past; or 3) if the City Commission chooses to pursue line item funding for the GCB, staff recommend that specific funding amounts not be discussed until budget revenues are held with the City Commission.
