Title
Drainage Easement and Temporary Construction Easement to Alachua County in the 3100 blk of SW 122 Street (B)

Alachua County has requested that the City grant them a Temporary Construction Easement and a perpetual Drainage Easement within the Utility corridor owned by the City in the 3100 block of SW 122 Street to facilitate its SW 122 Street milling and re-surfacing project.
Explanation
In conjunction with Alachua County's plans to mill and resurface SW 122nd Street from Archer Road to SW 24th Avenue, five foot paved shoulders will be added to the current roadway.  In the 3100 block of SW 122 Street, the addition of the five foot shoulder will necessitate that the sidedrain be relocated and the existing swale regraded.  The County has requested that the City grant a perpetual drainage easement and Temporary Construction Easement within its utility corridor in order to accommodate this relocation.

Staff has reviewed this request and has confirmed that there are not conflicts with existing City utility facilities, and therefore has no objections to the City granting the easements.
Recommendations
The City Commission: 1) approve the granting of a Temporary Construction Easement and a perpetual Drainage Easement to Alachua County to facilitate the County's SW 122nd Street milling and resurfacing project; and 2) authorize the Mayor and Clerk of the Commission to execute the documents, subject to approval by the City Attorney as to form and legality.
Fiscal Note
There is no fiscal impact to the City.
