This is a request for the City Commission to approve the revised rules of the City Plan Board, Development Review Board and Historoic Preservation Board.
Explanation
The City Plan Board, Development Review Board and the Historic Preservation Board operate under rules approved by the City Commission. The Department of Doing, which provides staff support to these boards, has worked with the Office of the City Attorney to develop revised rules for each of the three boards. The revisions are needed for consistency with ordinances from 2013 pertaining to attendance requirements, term limits for board members, and the Land Development Code. The board rules have also been reorganized for clarity and consistency. Drafts of the revised rules were provided to the City Plan Board, Development Review Board, and the Historic Preservation Board. City Commission approval is required for the revised rules to take effect.
