Explanation
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be constructing a traffic roundabout at the intersection of State Road 329 (Main Street) and Depot Avenue. FDOT is requesting the City grant a temporary easement of a parcel of land located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Depot Avenue and State Road 329 (Main Street) for the purpose of a staging area for equipment and for the construction of the roundabout.
Fiscal Note
There is no fiscal impact from this request.
Recommendation
The City Commission: 1) adopt the Resolution; and 2) authorize the Mayor to execute, and the Clerk to attest, a temporary easement to FDOT for a parcel located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Depot Avenue and State Road 329 (Main Street), for the purpose of a staging area for equipment and for the construction of the roundabout.
