Explanation

This Agreement has been reached through negotiations between The Amalgamated Transit Union, Local No. 1579, and the City of Gainesville, and was ratified by the Amalgamated Transit Union, Local No. 1579 bargaining unit on August 23, 2001. This Agreement covers the period from October 1, 2001, through September 30, 2003.

Fiscal Note

Funds are currently budgeted for the Fiscal Year 2001-2002. The costs for the Fiscal Year 2002-2003 will be addressed in the budget preparation process for that year.

Recommendations

The City Commission ratify the Contract for Amalgamated Transit Union, Local No. 1579 covering the period October 1, 2001, through September 30, 2003, between the City of Gainesville and Amalgamated Transit Union, Local No. 1579.
