Fiscal Note
Depending upon the availability of funds, a total budget of $102,273 has been proposed in FY 01-02 for the contract renewal with Group 5 & Associates, Inc. The City of Gainesville Solid Waste Enterprise Fund will provide up to $57,273, and the Alachua County Municipal Services Benefit Unit (MSBU) will provide up to $45,000.
Recommendation
The City Commission authorize the City Manager or designee to approve the issuance of a purchase order to Group 5 & Associates, Inc., for Public Education for Curbside Recycling and Reduction of Solid Waste and Yard Trash, not to exceed $57,273 for FY 01-02, subject to the availability of funds.
