On January 9, 2006, the City Commission approved this item being included in the City's 2006 State Legislative initatives, however, retained on the Public Safety Committee's pending referral list to continue discussions.

Recommendation

The Public Safety Committee 1) hear a report from University of Florida and staff on what other states have found post adoption of keg registration and any other pertinent information from other municipalities, and 2) take any necessary action.
