Explanation
A meeting of the Disability Review Committee was conducted on April 24, 2002 to review the application for disability retirement for Richard R. Jumpp. In reviewing the application and supporting information from his physician, it is the recommendation of the Committee for the City Commission to deny Richard R. Jumpp's application.
Richard R. Jumpp, a Maintenance Mechanic III who has 17.083 years of service at the GRU Kanapaha Water Reclamation Facility, has been under the care of a physician for medical reasons. Information provided to the Committee from his physician (copies of which are available for review in Employee Health Services by the City Commission) indicate that Richard R. Jumpp has not reached maximum medical improvement and, therefore, is not totally disabled, thus he does not meet the requirements under the disability plan for retirement.
