Explanation
On June 11, 2001, the City Commission heard a report from staff summarizing the recent proposal by the USEPA to amend the Record of Decision for the Koppers Superfund Site. Staff has prepared a letter to address concerns regarding this proposed amendment to be submitted during the established public comment period. This letter must be postmarked no later than July 6, 2001 in order to be included for consideration by the USEPA.
Recommendations
The City Commission receive a letter from staff addressing comments to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) concerning the Koppers Site Proposed Record of Decision Amendment and authorize the Mayor to send the letter.
