Explanation

On November 10, 2003, the City Commission referred this item to the Personnel & Organizational Structure Committee to discuss advisory board and committee memberships, including student and general appointments, quorums, terms, and term limits, etc; and to discuss the Assistant City Manager's recommendations regarding advisory boards and committees.  The P & O Committee met on the following dates to discuss these issues: January 22, 2004, March 25, 2004, April 12, 2004, July 12, 2004, August 3, 2004, and October 5, 2004.  

At their October 5, 2004 meeting, the Personnel & Organizational Structure Committee moved to merge #040163 Advisory Boards and Committee Membership with #030651 Advisory Boards and Committees, since both referrals are synonymous.
