Explanation

The City Commission has received a request from the Alachua Regional Juvenile Assessment Center (JAC) to provide continued funding for security operations at the JAC. 

Fiscal Note

The request from the JAC is for an additional $20,000 for the current fiscal year, in addition to $62,300 previously appropriated, and approximately $85,000 - $90,000 for the 2003 fiscal year.

Recommendation

Hear the request from the Alachua Regional Juvenile Assessment Center and take action deemed appropriate.
